¡Buenas noticias! La banda PERCIVAL lanzará este próximo viernes “Cup of Gold”, el primer sencillo de lo que será su próximo álbum. La canción estará disponible en todas las plataformas digitales, pero por primera vez, también se lanzará un video lyric.
“Cup of Gold” es una canción épica que incluye todos los elementos que nos gustan de la música de PERCIVAL: coros para cantar, riffs para mover la cabeza y una historia interesante. Este segundo álbum tiene muchas historias en sus letras y creemos que el público apreciará una letra distinta, cargada de un aire novelesco.
La canción está basada en la novela de John Steinbeck, “La Taza de Oro”. Steinbeck cuenta la historia del gran pirata Henry Morgan, sus obsesiones, su sed de venganza y amor. Una mujer y una ciudad serán la “taza de oro”: un lugar sin tristeza, sin pérdida y sin muerte. Por supuesto, el ser humano está destinado a la muerte, por lo que la obsesión de Morgan lo llevará a él y a su tripulación al infierno. ¡Es divertido!
PERCIVAL está formado por Walter Behobi en voces y guitarras, Guido Kritz en bajo y coros, e Ivan Sesarini en guitarras. El video lyric fue producido por IRONSIDE Producciones, mientras que el artwork es de Aldo Requena (HAMMERBLAZE). El álbum fue grabado por Guido Kritz en VERUCA Studio, producido por PERCIVAL y mezclado y masterizado por JJ Fornés en INCUS Studio.
